A practical starting point
Choose a character, increase Compress gradually and adjust Punch by ear. Blend the original signal back in with Mix.
What should you listen for?
Listen to the balance between the attack and sustain of a note. Keep enough movement for the role of the instrument.

Loops during playback. Dry: unprocessed. Wet: rendered with the named TONE Easy plugin. Both are aligned and matched for integrated loudness. The electronic drums and recorded honky-tonk piano use CC0 samples from FreePats. Sources & settings

Formats & system requirements
- Plugin formats
- Audio Units (AU) and VST3, 64-bit.
- Computer
- Mac with an Intel processor or Apple Silicon. The current package includes both architectures.
- Minimum macOS version
- macOS 11 is the technical minimum for the current builds. Compatibility with older macOS versions and Intel is still being validated before sales begin.
- Music software
- A 64-bit DAW supporting AU or VST3. The final list of tested DAW versions will be published before sales begin.
- Windows & Pro Tools
- Windows and AAX are not available yet. Pro Tools requires AAX and cannot load these AU/VST3 versions directly.
- Memory & storage
- Minimum RAM and CPU requirements are still being determined. The current four-plugin package is approximately 62 MB to download and 126 MB unpacked; allow extra space for installation.
Your licence
The planned licence model: buy one plugin, choose several individual plugins or get the bundle with all four. An individual key unlocks its plugin; a bundle key unlocks EQ, COMP, SAT and MASTER. Each personal licence covers up to two computers. After a one-time online activation you can work offline.
Planned trial: 14 days to try all four plugins from one public download. After purchase, activate your plugins in the same installation. The trial download and plugin activation are still in development. Your customer account is available via My account. Live payments and licence orders are not being processed yet.
