Samples & settings
Four 10.8-second examples made from samples. Processing was rendered with the current TONE Easy processors rather than a simulated browser filter.
- EQ v1.4: piano, Low −8 dB, Mid −6 dB at 900 Hz, High +10 dB from 2.5 kHz.
- COMP v2.2: drums, FET, Input +10 dB, Compress 90%, Punch 15%, Release 140 ms, Mix 100%.
- SAT v1.2: drums, tape character, Input +12 dB, Drive 95%, Tone +20, Mix 100%.
- MASTER v1.1: piano and drums, Tone −70, Glue 90%, Width 140%, Level +12 dB, Ceiling −1 dBTP.
These deliberately pronounced demonstration settings make the differences easier to hear; in your own mix, choose the amount that suits the music.
Auto Level / Match Listen was disabled during rendering. Plugin latency was removed. Each Wet file then received one fixed gain adjustment: Dry and Wet measure approximately −26 LUFS integrated. The website plays both at the same level. These examples illustrate these settings on this material.
